Titled "Land Cover Mapping in Alaska Based on Satellite Image Classification - Lessons Learned" This presentation describes our work in Alaska's National Parks and how we developed detailed landcover maps for Katmai National Park and Preserve and Wrangell - St. Elias National Park and Preserve. Ken discusses the techniques we used to resolve class confusion as well as our success in distinguishing between white spruce and black spruce in the boreal forest.
